The information is based on the geological 3d model Bitterfeld and was processed with EVS/MVS. Red colour indicates the sediments (channel-fills) of high permeability and hydraulic conductivity.

3D-Animation    of transport modelling of non-reactive tracer over 30 years processed with MODFLOW. The digital surface was taken from the geological 3d model, generated with GSI3D. It indicates the boundary between the upper and lower aquifer. The digital surface represents with a sharp edge of the former lignite mining pit surface, which is now completely filled up with overburden.
